Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and half the Italian seasoning. Sear 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.

Remove chicken to plate. Add garlic to same pan, cook 30 seconds. Add softened cream cheese, mashing and stirring until melted.

Slowly whisk in chicken broth and remaining Italian seasoning. Simmer 2-3 minutes until thickened.

Stir in heavy cream until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Nestle chicken back into sauce with any accumulated juices. Simmer 3-4 minutes, spooning sauce over chicken.

Let rest 1 minute. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve over rice, pasta, or with crusty bread.
